Spring, really?

Hard to believe it will be spring break next week with all of the snow on the ground. I am hoping for some sunshine and warmer temperatures. Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday due to Good Friday. Also, pajama day is on Thursday.

Parents, you should expect IEP progress reports to come home on Wednesday or Thursday of this week along with grades.

Parent teacher conferences are on Thursday evening from 4:00-7:00.

Wednesday I will be out of the building visiting Boyne to observe their ipad use. Hopefully I will find some neat ways to use our ipads.

Friday is the kick off of reading month. March will be a wild month!!

4th Graders will be writing region reports in Social Studies. The due date is February 25th. We will be filling out graphic organizers in class. Students will be expected to work on the reports at home as well. Please be sure to support your child with this assignment. If you wish, there is an extra credit opportunity to bring in a dish from your child's assigned region to share with the class.

Progress reports on IEP goals will go home along with report cards on Friday, January 25th. Please feel free to contact me or Mrs. Low if you have any questions.

Fourth grade student will be taking the Stanford Achievement Test this week. It is extremely important that your child is not only present, but well rested and ready to go. A letter will be sent home this week explaining the changes to our reading program across the fourth grade.
